Superheroine of the Night: Cate Blanchett

I love this. And it is wholly heroine chic. But here’s Cate (the queen):
There are no words. She is wearing LAVENDER and YELLOW. In a vaguely militaristic cut. With SEAFOAM. And a big O cut-out in front and a X crossing the back like some kind of wearable tic-tac-toe game. Okay, I guess there are words, they just barely make sense.
Superheroine of the Night. I even know her name: Bishoujo Senshi (“pretty soldier“). Yes, like Sailor Moon only if Sailor Moon grew up, cut her hair and went to the Oscars LIKE A BOSS QUEEN.
i saw g.pal and said at the party: “well, i know someone who’s going to be happy tonight.”
and then i went on with a story that began “you see, i have this internet friend…”
