Superheroine of the Night: Naomi Watts (with assist by Tony Stark)

Naomi Watts has been out of the spotlight the past year or so, but she decided to come back with a BANG. She has at least 5 films coming out this year, she just scored her second Oscar Nomination, and she showed up to the People’s Choice Awards in sparkling gold heroine chic:

And then, to secure her title as Superheroine of the Night, she presented the award to Tony Stark himself.

I still think she could play Carol Danvers as Tony’s peer. Aren’t they cute?

It would be difficult to fight crime in this skirt, but it would be easy peasy to use this dress as inspiration for a supersuit.

The top is pure heroine chic. It’s flashy, it looks like armor, it’s a great use of illusion netting.

Her earrings remind me of arrowheads, or the key to an ancient alien secret.

And her hair is totally Carol Danvers’s No Artist Can Agree On It Hair. Also, fun.

Well played, Naomi. You remain my hero.
