Superhero of the Night: Alan Cummings

The Creative Arts Emmys aren’t a big deal the way the Regular Type Emmys are. There’s no red carpet hoopla on E or Fashion Emergency Special the next day. The stars who go get dolled up, sure, but it’s not THE EMMYS. It’s the Untelevised Emmys for Everything Else.

But don’t tell that to Alan Cummings.

This is like something the Riddler might wear ONLY MORE AWESOME. Because he’s not a Gothamite driven mad by whatever it is that makes everyone in Gotham mad. He’s a real person. Alan is nearing Karl Lagerfeld levels of crazy/beautiful with this suit+attitude formula. And there is absolutely nothing bad about that. I mean maybe Alan wore this because he knew it was for the not-as-important-Emmy Emmys. But I prefer to think otherwise.
