The Others (AmfAR V)

If everyone wasn’t so AMAZING at this event all of these would probably make the Best list. As is they are simply the slightly-less-AMAZING list.

1. DAMN Michelle Rodriguez looks good lately. 2. This is a far superior pink dress than her Met Gala appearance. It fits her and shows off her personality. 3. I LOVE the colour. The only reason this is an Other instead of a Best is:

It’s too long. Make this a mini and we’re golden. I just don’t like the draping past the knees. And those shoes — which are lovely — would look better not surrounded by (matching) dress fabric, too.

Rachel Bilson in Chanel. Pretty, but no wow factor and from straight on it draws attention to her bust in a weird way.

Karolina Kurkova in Marchesa. Karolina of Krypton has the lead in Superheroine of the Night titles so it’s all right that this lands in the middle.

I like it. I love that it is a risk. She is stunning, her body wears clothes WELL. Just not my favourite.

Paris Hilton in Jean Fares Couture. Yawn.

Georgina Chapman in Marchesa. Yawn. This picture looks like an ad for the car.

Joely Richardson. Yawn. EXCEPT the shoes which I want.

Frederique Bel. I like this. I love the ribboned armor look. It’s just not quite best.

Hofit Golan looking like a too glitzy candlestick.

And Kate Beckinsale looking like a too ditzy candlestick (story).

Okay, less ditzy but still candlestick. This is Armani Prive and just like when Amanda Seyfreid and J-Lo wore it to the Oscars my critique is: Pretty, but too stiff.
