Dear Suzanne Engo. I get that you love them but Converse are not appropriate footwear when wearing a gown. Even if your gown is a Smurf-blue ripped up mess that hugs your body in all the wrong places. This is BAD. Signed, All of Us.
If everyone wasn’t so AMAZING at this event all of these would probably make the Best list. As is they are simply the slightly-less-AMAZING list.
1. DAMN Michelle Rodriguez looks good lately. 2. This is a far superior pink dress than her Met Gala appearance. It fits her and shows off her personality. 3. I LOVE the colour. The only reason this is an Other instead of a Best is:
Camilla Belle in Gucci Premiere. It speaks for itself.
I saw this picture and said “Oh hell yeah!” Literally. Out loud.
You totally did, too, right? Now, this is ridiculous. But it is certainly heroine chic. And everyone knows if you wear purple and red you are a villain.
But she wasn’t the only villain there:
If Miss Hemingway were not there, Emily Blunt would have been named Superheroine of the night. This picture gives you a peek at why.
It’s not just the eye-popping, very heroine chic colour (no red carpet at this gala, by the way, so I’ve no qualms loving this red). No, look here:
Last night the stars sparkled at the annual AmfAR gala to benefit AIDS research. There were only a few misses, most everybody looked right AMAZING and the parade of heroine (and villain! the villains are gonna need their own post) chic makes me grin. But superheroine of the night is obvious:
Dree Hemingway in Valentino Couture — and like Karolina of Krypton at the World Music Awards, this isn’t just heroine chic, she looks like a page out of a superhero book. She also looks absolutely stunning.
